God’s Forgiveness

God’s forgiveness is like light,
It shines on us regardless of plight.
No matter what we’ve done wrong,
His mercy and love go on and on.

No matter how deep in sin we may be,
His love covers us and sets us free.
He offers us mercy and a new start, 
For God gives us a fresh, soft heart.

He gives us strength to make it through, 
Offering His grace and guiding us too.
A brand new start is within our reach, 
When we give ourselves to Him, He’ll teach. 

The joy of redemption is an incredible force, 
Transforming us into being whole, of course.  
The power of salvation is an amazing thing,
Bringing us to a place of peace, we sing.

God’s forgiveness is like a river,
Never stopping for He is the great Giver.
Bringing healing to each one,
Forgiven of every wrong done.

From the depths of our very distress,
No wound too deep for him to dress, 
No sin too dark or of deep disgrace, 
His love we can’t ever, ever outpace.

God’s forgiveness is like a fresh spring,
His boundless love makes me sing!
When life under pressure begins to shove,
This life of mercy flows from above.

God’s forgiveness come, we pray. 
He remains close; even when we stray.
Through Him all things are made right,
Our burdens are placed out of our sight. 

God’s forgiveness is like a tree’s eaves,
That shelters us in its peaceful leaves. 
When we seek Him with a humble heart, 
His light shines bright on our dark part.  

God forgives and is faithful still, 
He binds His children to His will. 
He said ‘Come to me children all,
In search of comfort, hear My call.”  

God’s forgiveness is like a blossom,
Its beauty bright; its fragrance awesome.
For Mercy’s glory is beyond compare,
And to the cross, it takes us there.
