We are called in our pursuit of God to seek out how Jesus is in all of Scripture. Do not seek out your trusted biblical authority first. But seek God first through prayer and Scripture intake. Let God become your trusted biblical authority.
This article highlights portions of Abraham’s story to bring out one aspect. Constantly we find Abraham interceding on behalf of people, except for Sarah. I look at my wife and see a wondrously beautiful example of the struggle of faith for a woman. The more I desire to pray for her, the more God shows me how to pray for her.
